Ticketing Platform
Automated devices and anything and everything ‘smart’ has become the new a la mode. Commuting in public transport no longer requires counting of notes and coins to be sure of the amount being paid. The NFC/MOBILE/RFID Handheld POS Ticketing Platform was built to process cash and cashless transactions for the systematic issuance of tickets, with ease, accountability and transparency for both the passenger and conductor.
The system consists of a handheld Mobile/GPS/RFID and NFC enabled ticketing device where tickets can be issued with a minimum selection of keys. The processing of tickets will not go uninterrupted where coverage of WiFi and Mobile transmission is significantly lower thanks to the ‘offline mode’ available as a function. At the completion of a trip, the ticket tally is conveyed to a central server.

Sri Lanka in over 15,000 buses proving to be of immense value with over 2 million transactions processed per day.

Reporting and Data Analytics
A detailed reporting data analytics dashboard and administrative portal enable the relevant authorities with data mining and to monitor their daily revenue and operations to draw important data to improve the efficiency and profitability of the service.
Remote Locking Mechanism
In case of an emergency, the machine can be remotely locked, preventing the conductor or any other person from using it to perform transactions.
Prepaid Transit
For the commuter, this mode of prepaid transit mitigates theft and pilferage from the conductor. The owner also benefits as they have access to the accurate number of tickets issued, thereby having the assurance that no malpractice and fraud takes place.
